Hello my name is La’Keisha Newsome and I provide special education services for students with an

Individual Education Plan (IEP). This is my third year here at AES. I love teaching! I am blessed

to have the unique opportunity to touch the lives of so many children who will become our future

leaders.

Students who receive special education and speech services must have a meeting to create the IEPs for 2008-09. These meetings take place in the Spring. Your child will bring home a meeting date and time. Please sign the form and return as soon as possible. You will then receive a confirmation letter from me.
