Registration for the 4-year old PreK program for the 2017-2018 School Year has been set. Registration for the 2017-2018 will be online via the Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education Office. Parents/Guardians will enter thier information in online from March 1st-April 15th only for the Random Classroom Selection Drawing. 

The random classroom drawing will take place on Friday, April 28th, at 2pm in the Library Media Center to select the students who will attend the 2017-2018 Pre-K Program.  All other names will be put on a waiting list in the order that they are drawn. 


To register online for the PreK Program,  the student learner must meet the following requirements:


1.      must be four years old on or before Saturday, September 2, 2017.

2.      must be a resident of Alabama.

All remaining official documents must be presented by the parent/guardian prior to the first day of school to the guidance counselor. 

- State Birth Certificate (Voluntary) Age verification document such as physician documents or other approved sources showing date of birth for age verification is acceptable.

-Social Security Card (Voluntary)

-must have current (up-to-date) Alabama immunization record. (Please bring the original and is required before the student enters school.)

-must have appropriate custody/guardianship papers, if applicable.


Additionally, there is a $20.00 instructional fee each month and selected Pre-K students are required to have a physical completed by a medical physician. Parents provide transportation to and from school daily and to all field trips. Classes meet Monday-Friday from 7:30 A.M. to 2:00 P.M according to the Henry County School Calendar.
